1303               Issuance Dates

Child Care - ARW, Chapt. 1, Purchase of Service SNAP - 7 CFR 274.2 POWER - ARW, Chapt. 1, Section 8

A.    See Section 1203, G. for information on Child Care payments.

B.    Realize SNAP benefits are issued on an EBT card:

1.    On the 1^st through the 4^th of each month based on the first letter of the recipient’s last name:

        a.  Last name begins with:

              (1)  A-D – issuance date is the 1^st;

              (2)  E-K – issuance date is the 2^nd;

              (3)  L-R – issuance date is the 3^rd;

              (4)  S-Z – issuance date is the 4^th.

2.    Within 24 hours following authorization when an “I” is used as the issuance indicator for immediate issuance.

C.    Realize POWER performance payments will be issued by DFS-SO, BPU, as follows:

1.    The first of the month payroll will be mailed the last working day of the month for the corresponding performance period when authorized by the fifth working day from the end of the month;

2.    The immediate issuance warrants and underpayments authorized by 6 p.m. on Friday will be processed and the payment will normally be mailed on the following Tuesday unless a holiday is involved;

NOTE:  The issuance date on EPICS will correspond with the Friday of the week worker authorizes POWER.  However, the POWER Warrant will not be processed by WOLFS until the following Monday night and mailed Tuesday.
