2108               Notification                                     Effective Date - January 1, 2009

Foster Care Medical - Sect. 1931 of the Social Security Act; 42 CFR 435.222; W.S. 42-3-103

A.    Notify the Caseworker in writing in all cases, including the following:
1.  Action required,
2.  Reason for action, and
3.  Applicable legal citations.

B.    DO NOT generate the notice from EPICS as the address on EPICS is that of the foster Home/facility.

C.   Send notification immediately after a decision is made to avoid overpayments from federal funding.
