Determine
if the applicant or recipient meets the "living with a relative" eligibility factor.
A. Require the caretaker to be a relative
of the child and consider the eligibility factor met when:
1. Living
with the child; and
2. Responsible for the care and control of the child;
and
3. It has been established the caretaker relative is the primary caretaker of the child(ren); or
4. The parents
share joint custody and it has been
established the applicant/recipient is the primary
caretaker;
B. Consider a stepparent eligible and the “living with a relative” factor met when s/he is the only caretaker relative in the household and, for POWER, is in need.
