710                 Tracking Work Program Requirements

A.    Use the following codes on WORW for work registration (see Section 702):

1.    Exempt individuals will be coded Y-EX in the EXEMPT field;

2.    Mandatory individuals will be coded N in the EXEMPT field;

3.    The work registration date must be entered in the SNAP WORK RGDATE field.

B.    Use the following codes on WORW in EPICS for E&T:

1.    Code exempt individuals Y-EX in the EXEMPT field;

2.    Code mandatory individuals N in the EXEMPT field; and

3.    Code the VOL field N as E&T is for mandatory individuals only.

C.   Use the following codes on JAS for E&T after selecting the individual to be activated:

1.    Assure the caseload number of PASS is correct;

2.    Enter 101 as the component code on EMDP for regular E&T with SCHEDULED START and SCHEDULED END dates which reflect no more than a 60 day period at 30 hours per week;

3.    Follow the procedure in Section 713 in sanction situations;

4.    Create the participant reimbursement for E&T participants (see Section 711);

5.    Assure all payments have been authorized at the end of sixty days or when advised by the E&T provider the component activity is completed:

a.    Enter an ACTUAL END DATE on EMDP;

b.    Generate a JAS E&T closure notice; and

c.    Terminate the case on PASS.
