714                 POWER Performance Requirements

POWER - P.L. 104-193, as amended; W.S. 42-2-103; ARW, Chapt. 1, Section 7

A.    Inform the applicant/recipient of the POWER Pay-After-Performance requirements which must be met before a monthly performance payment can be authorized:

1.    Registration with DWS for mandatory individuals;

2.    Cooperation with the POWER work program action center for mandatory individuals;

3.    Cooperation with the CSA; and

4.    Meeting all other eligibility factors.

B.    Inform the applicant/recipient of the penalties for noncompliance with the Pay-After-Performance requirements.

C.   Inform the applicant which assistance unit members are required to come into the office to sign the IRCU as a condition of eligibility.

1.    Contact must be completed by Wednesday of the same week if application is made on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday; or

2.    Contact must be completed by Wednesday of the following week if application is made on Thursday or Friday of the prior week.

D.   Have each applicant between the ages of 16 and 65 complete the Assessment Form (DFS 561) and forward a copy of the original to the DWS.
