716                 POWER Mandatory Individuals

POWER - P.L. 104-193, as amended; W.S. 42-2-103

A.    Understand mandatory applicant/recipients are those who do not meet any of the exemption criteria as well as the following individuals:

1.    A child who is no longer subject to the mandatory school attendance laws and drops out of school or is suspended even though the child may re-enroll in school;

2.    A minor parent;

3.    A teen parent under the age of 20 without a high school diploma or equivalent.
